One of the interesting features about Window’s 7 upgraded Aero interface is the ability to quickly minimize all window except for the one active. With Aero Shake, you can grab any window by title bar and just ‘shake’ it back and forth to minimize other windows. Its a very neat feature but just in case someone finds it annoying, luckily there is a way to disable it.
Method1
Using Local Group Policy Editor
Open ‘Local Group Policy Editor’ by typing gpedit.msc in the RUN command.

Next navigate to User Configuration => Administrative Templates => Desktop. Now double click on ‘Turn off Aero Shake window minimizing mouse gesture’ and change it from being ‘not configured’ to ‘enable’.

Method2
Manual registry hack:
Open ‘Registry Editor’ by typing regedit.exe in the RUM command and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows

Now we need need to create a new ‘DWORD’ to disable ‘Aero Shake’. Right-click on th Windows key and select NEW follow by DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Lable it ‘NoWindowMinimizingShortcuts’ and assign it a hexadecimal value ’1′
