VNC is a remote cross platform software that enables users to control a remote computer over the network. I personally have been using Ultra VNC for many years and found a way to create VNC shortcuts to machines I often connect to. This tip is for those already familiar with the software
I regularly connect to the same machine and having a VNC shortcut not only saves time, I no longer to have to repeatedly enter the hostname and password
Open ‘VNC Viewer’ and connect to the remote machine by entering either its hostname or IP address.

Once connected press and hold CTRL+ALT+F5. Save the VNC shortcut file.

Select ‘YES’ to include the password in the shortcut. Select ‘NO’ to not include the password.
